I don't know why it isn't available on the DS which is aimed at those with kids, and could do with hands free boot.

Would like to see the new colour Bartolo Ice, also interior colour Lunar Ice.

Realised today that with the updated front lights the DRLs are going from unique Evoque to anonymous Tiguan.

Looking at the Land Rover web site and for a bit of fun I thought I'd re-build my MY15 model, shock, horror the small black spoiler lip has been dropped!!
Plus: If you want the electric tailgate you lose the keyless entry!
Dynamic mode option is now extra on the Dynamic!

What is going on?

And surprise, surprise the car has become more expensive....

Don't get me wrong some changes have been good, no longer need the heated and cooled seats with the premium oxford leather seats Wink

SP are you using the .co.uk or the .com Land Rover website configurator? I made that mistake - the .com is the globla website, .co.uk is UK specific. As we all know the early days after a new configurator is posted are when it is at it's least accurate! All the UK dealerrs now have the full UK specs for 2016MY with build after July.

Tim,
I was using the UK one and then I tried the German one, no better!
Although I'm not looking for a new one now, it was more out of interest.

I see my now departed Zanzibar Evoque is offered on the LR Approved website for £1000 more than I paid for it just over a year ago! I did get a nice discount when I bought it

Your kidding me £1000 more, wow.

RE: News about 2016 MY RREs - XFullFatTim - 06-04-2015 04:19pm

SP, I've just specced up an HSE Dynamic Lux................. so Adaptive Dynamics are now an extra, Aeroflip is part of the Black Pack kit and the press button Starter is an optional extra (so where are they putting the keyhole?) - some very odd changes to the spec that I suspect might be bugs in the configurator. There are also some odd changes on the RRS configurator too. To me it looks like there is some serious profit making by LR by removing some of the items, they will have to be very careful that they don't price the car out of its price window as it is now seriously getting to be poor value for money after you loose what used to be standard and make it optional. I hope that the build quality has take a huge leap to match the inflated price

Tim,
I specced the HSE Dynamic as well and to be honest I hope it's a fault in the system because for that money I'll be changing my Evoque next year for a Macan.

RE: News about 2016 MY RREs - PAT - 06-04-2015 06:52pm

Ahead of the MY16 changes I spec'd a Dynamic Lux Si4 with a couple of extras to match my current spec which came to £47,400.

Needless to say, the same spec now for a HSE Dynamic Lux is almost £2000 more and if LR are really going to charge £800 for Active Dynamic then that's a step too far.

AD mode was standard before on the Dynamic LUX and something I used a lot of the time but I'd not be able to justify spending £800 and I doubt the dealer discounts being currently offered will apply to new MY16 orders.

As was mentioned already, £50,000+ would get a reasonable spec'd Macan S so I think LR are pushing things too far this time.
