Not too often Ali. I would have had a Bali Purple as well, it really looked good on the RRS. Another old LR colour I had was Monte Carlo blue on a FFRR which I think would sell well again.
It's not a great photo looking into the sun but this was Monte Carlo Blue

Anyone had a quote for just wrapping the roof?

I have a glass panoramic roof and was thinking of wrapping the surround in black to match the glass, plus as its a pure it would end up looking more like a Prestige. Thanks

I've never heard of wrapping a car before. Do people do it here in the USA? What happens if you get a ding or scratch does it peel away? Does it look just like paint? Shiny like paint? Sorry so many questions! I'm obviously clueless! I've always wanted a black/purple eggplant type color and I like the idea of it not being permanent.

Sj, if done well it looks just like a respray.

You can choose any colour you want, mat or gloss.
As for looking after the finish, unlike paint which can be corrected if marked, Wraps are just a type of plastic so are very hard to remove light scratches & deep marks would need that wrapped panel replaced.
I have played about with wrapping trim parts & ended up getting them sprayed with good old paint.

I was thinking of getting a Saltire (Scottish Flag) wrap done on the roof. Quoted £185.00
They stated they would get as close a match to Baltic Blue (minus metallic) and Fuji White for the cross.

Still thinking about it!
