When we keep referring to LHD and RHD, are we referring to the side of the road you are intending to drive upon or the side of the steering wheel?
That is why I was getting muddled over which headlights I required for the UK. I thought I needed LHD lights because we drive on the left but in fact it is the RHD lights I need for the UK because our steering wheels are on the right!

I'm 'almost' there in terms of sourcing a RHD (non-adaptive) pair but now starting to wonder if there is a 'Cartronics' equivalent closer to home anywhere. Don't fancy having to drive down to Surrey tbh.
I believe there is some sort of reprogramming required so will need a reputable auto electrical specialist.
Any suggestions?

Cartronics have come back to me with some quotes.
They've quoted over £2K to supply and fit. It was nearer to £3K tbh coming in at £2,820.
They've quoted £708 just to fit.
Yikes!

its a yikes from me too. will stick with the single drls. i quite like them anyway.

In fairness, I think those quotes are excessive.
I was quoted cheaper Xenons directly from Land Rover and eBay is even cheaper still.
I will try to source a pair and then when I have them, will be scouting for an auto-electrical specialist to help me fit them.
Luckily I'm in no rush!

If you go into WH Smith and pick up a copy of any of the Land Rover specialist or 4x4 magazines (there are at least 4 of them published every month) In the back you will find classifieds for non-franchise LR garages, any of them will be able to do the job for you and often their labour rates are very reasonable compared to Main Dealers and most have the right gear to be able to set up the car to recognise that it now has Xenons instead of halogens. They are all used to dealing with the more modern Land Rovers, they aren't all Defender and Series specialists. You could also try people like Twisted and Kahn who do this kind of conversion when they custom build cars for clients.

Cartronics do seem very expensive. I will definitely be shopping around.
