I thought when these came out they were supposed to have the new engines? Well if what I have heard is true, Land Rover are right not to launch the car with a new engine that isn't ready for launch. RE: Discovery Sport - Straydox - 05-09-2014 11:41pm Saw one this evening, 18.15 in full LR camo colours, southbound carriageway at the end of the M40 J15 slip road, sadly on the hard shoulder with an RAC van in attendance.... RE: Discovery Sport - XFullFatTim - 06-09-2014 03:24am I bet that's what LR said to you Tony "never seen them do that before, unheard of" - takes me back to those "wonderful" days of Austin Rover/ British Leyland when the problem your car was on the hard shoulder with was unique to to your particular car! RE: Discovery Sport - Evo-king - 06-09-2014 10:10am First Discovery Sport to get Ingenium will be the eD4 2.0d 150bhp, 2wd. From what I've read. Only too true! Over on the other forum there are a few with 9 speed issues and at least one with a replacement gearbox. RE: Discovery Sport - J77 - 07-09-2014 12:28pm I got a Shock yesterday when I went up to talk business, it seems my D4 has lost £6K in 6 months so thats the HSE right out the window. So rather than put myself in an uncomfortable position financially I've went for entry level SE Spec SD4 SE Manual (been put off the auto ) Loire blue (might take Scotia Grey) Cirrus partial leather 18"alloys Fogs Privacy glass Heated steering wheel Illuminated aluminium tread plates Mats Mudflaps 5yrs servicing £499 No auto lights/wipers available on this car, should be standard for a car costing £32,395 RE: Discovery Sport - Craig_d1 - 07-09-2014 10:34pm (07-09-2014 12:28pm)J77 Wrote: I got a Shock yesterday when I went up to talk business, it seems my D4 has lost £6K in 6 months so thats the HSE right out the window. How old's the D4? Have you tried a different dealer? Trying to decide if the disc sport is worth it as a replacement for our ageing D4 at the mo. That and do we wait for the new engines. RE: Discovery Sport - Tony - 07-09-2014 10:58pm Your right avoiding the 9 speed and would not touch a DS for a good number of years, it will be built on the same lines as the Evoque and even after 3 years in production they cannot get the QC right. |
