RE: Just put OEM 22"s on my coupe! - XFullFatTim - 08-04-2014 02:25pm If the wheels are OEM then a pothole won't be a problem - a fully specced up RRS 2 is >500kgs heavier than an Evoque, even after RRS has been on a diet! Remember they are designed to be used offroad although 22" wheels and ULP tyres are an invite to get punctures and wheel damage. RE: Just put OEM 22"s on my coupe! - borbor1313 - 23-08-2015 06:14am Nice RE: Just put OEM 22"s on my coupe! - XFullFatTim - 23-08-2015 08:45am I have the 22" optional wheels on my RRS2, I had no option other than to take them as the car was going into build 2 days after I paid the deposit so couldn't change the spec. I have been offroad on them and didn't get stuck once BUT I did avoid a section of rock crawling because of the sharp flints and low sidewalls on the tyres (and the fact that RRS has no spare and I had 90 miles to drive home!). Onroad I cannot detect any difference in ride comfort over the Evoque with 20's that the RRS replaced. There is a little bit more road noise though. One question for the OP - how did you reset your speeod and the satnav as the rolling diamter must be well outwith the numbers allowed for instrument accuracy by LR. |
