I just posted an extract from the LR Spec Spreadsheet that was sent to all dealers. It could be wrong......

Yes, some of it is confusing/frustrating. I would have liked to have added the auto dipping mirrors (when reverse is selected), that is priced at £205 but you can only have this if you also have the memory seats (£900). That then means you are paying a total of £1105 just to have that function - bonkers!!

I think these original figures given to dealers were wrong as the Tax / emissions are higher than the equivalent FL2.

BTW anyone else disappointed by the combined figure of 43mpg for the SD4 Auto? The Co2 figure seems OK but that combined figure makes me think we'll get low 30's real world consumption. I know the FL2 isn't known for its economy but I had higher hopes for the Evoque. I appreciate those coming to the Evoque from FF’s & RRS will think all their Christmases have come at once but whose coming from other brands have been used to upper 30's / lower 40's for a few years now.......

RE: Pricing online? - XFullFatTim - 04-04-2011 11:00pm

Well I can get 32mpg easily in my TDv8 FFRR on a long drive on the motorway and just sticking to the speed limits using the cruise. In local driving I get between 28 and 30 depending on whether I want to frighten Maxpower Saxos. My TDv8 RRS was just a bit heavier on the fuel. It's only the supercharged FFRR's and RRS's that have wallet numbing fuel consumptions about 12-15mpg but a lot worse if you want to use their performance which is somewhat mind bending for such big heavy cars. Around town my FFRR can fall to about 22/24 mpg at it's worst. So 43mpg is disappointing but the saving in annual VED will be welcome as the FFRR and RRS are both well into the highest band!
Regarding the new website info, I have asked Lookers Park Royal to investigate with LR if there are glitches (not unusual with the LR website) as according to the website I cannot have the car I have on order................. The Dynamic Plus pack and the Lux pack, according to the LR website, cannot be combined but there is also an issue with the engine options for the Pure models on the website

It would be worse if it the situation was reversed.

The LUX Pack includes the following features over a standard Prestige or Dynamic:

• Powered electrical tailgate, fixed panoramic glass roof including power blinds
• 825W Meridian surround sound audio system
• 8" high resolution dual-view touch-screen
• Analogue / digital television
• Auto-dimming rear view mirror
• Surround camera system with tow assist
• Blind spot monitoring
• Keyless entry
• 'Park Assist' system
• Climate control with air filtration / quality sensing and automatic recirculation.

The LUX Pack is priced at £4,325 over standard Prestige and Dynamic derivatives

Regards,

James

James, can items listed as part of the LUX Pack be individually optioned onto a Prestige? I really only want a couple of the items and I'd assume they would be cheaper than the whole pack.
