RE: Nav Map System for 2013 to 2015 update... to 2016 - XFullFatTim - 02-01-2016 04:19pm So LR dealers aren't charging for the actual data that is changed, they are charging for the labour involved in plugging the car into their systems for nearly 3 hours and nearly getting killed on the exhaust fumes in the workshop burning your fuel while it downloads? RE: Nav Map System for 2013 to 2015 update... to 2016 - PhilSkill - 02-01-2016 04:52pm Yep pretty much, Dealer said it causes them problems because car has to be kept live for so long, so preferred I do it myself! which is better for me too as can do it while using the car rather than have it sat for 3 hours running at the dealers wasting my fuel. Does the UI change at all, or only additional roads and POI's. (03-01-2016 12:32am)angeli662 Wrote: Go to the first post, I put the link right under my comments. If if you live in a area in NA with little or not much changes it would be a waste of time and money. RE: Nav Map System for 2013 to 2015 update... to 2016 - PhilSkill - 03-01-2016 10:11pm yep, as angeli says its a map update only, so don't bother unless you keep hitting roads that are not on your nav. RE: Nav Map System for 2013 to 2015 update... to 2016 - PhilSkill - 19-01-2016 11:17pm Took a while... Many switch offs during the process sometime weeks in-between, but worked without a hitch [attachment=4461] RE: Nav Map System for 2013 to 2015 update... to 2016 - fodo8 - 16-03-2016 11:07am well you have just reassured me of no hiccups...so just taken the plunge and ordered mine ...
