I'm want to change my front grille and side vents to silver - if the parts come off easily I'd be more than happy to sell by black dynamic parts second hand!!!

You could put an ad with the expected price or even just do it as an exchange, in the for sale and wanted section Tully! I'm sure that there are at least 6 "sportified" members who might like to do the exchange and save them and you some dosh

I notice some are asking about instruction manuals. The bumpers and trims are simple to fit and any decent mechanic can work out how to remove and swap bumpers etc in no time. All the vents just clip in and out.

If they do struggle then a 24hr subscription on http://topix.landrover.jlrext.com will give them any answers they need.

Ive added the removal pdfs here it may help but its really easy and only basic mechanics their is nothing to them just clips and screws.

Some simple algebra:
If:
Pure + options = Prestige - £2000
and:
Pure + options + duckworths dynamic kit Light (bumpers and side sills)+ DIY = Prestige
then:
Why buy a Prestige (unless you want Oxford leather)ConfusedConfused

Now we know why LR won't let you buy a Dynamic outsideEvilEvil

Surely that's wrong though. Using your simplistic equations (and we all know it's not that straight forward - I wish!), If :-

Pure + options = Prestige - £2000
then:
Pure + options + duckworths dynamic kit Light (bumpers and side sills)+ DIY = Dynamic

Then the question should be:
Why buy a Prestige or a Dynamic

As I say I wish it was that straight forward, it's not though, so that's why I'm perfectly happy with the car I've ordered - simples Very Happy

RE: Dynamic Kit - Charlie - 05-09-2011 02:44pm

And the ADs?

Oh sorry you can't add those!

RE: Dynamic Kit - paulus599 - 05-09-2011 03:18pm

Plus for the people that regularly change their cars: no matter how many options you add to a Pure, come trade in time you will always get less for it than a similarly spec'd Prestige or Dynamic.

I don't think we're allowed to post on this thread, come on troublemaker or we'll be thrown out by the mods.
