Are you saying you bought the Freelander for £18,500 and have traded it in to Stratstone for £18,000?

That's one hell of a deal - I have only be offered 15k by Lexus Newcastle on my 07 Lexus 400h SE with 32k on the clock and in immaculate condition - it cost over £40k newCrying

That makes my offer not too bad, even with its broken engine vw are taking my 09 scirocco 1.4tsi 13700 miles off my hands for 13850, i think i paid about 21800 for it in march 2009

So after 2years 5 months thats 63.5 % back which is not too bad really, other cars would be a lot worse. I could have got a little more back on a private sale once it has been repaired but i cant be bothered with the risk/hassle

My 2007 BMW 335i M Sport Tourer, again 40k brand new, it's done 74k miles great condition, and LR tell me as a trade in price for the Evoque its 8k!

I've also just put 4 brand new 19" tyres on it as well!
So i'm selling it privately...Crying Bobbing Rastards!!

Secondhand prices are the pits. My RRE is replacing an 88k mile Subaru Impreza WRX which is worth only £3k or so, but much more to me, much faster than the RRE. Thinking of keeping it...

Even worse for those getting delivery between September and November is that dealer forecourts will be flooded with part-exchange cars from the September 1 plate change as well, which will depress values.
