Had an update last night - the battery went flat half along the production line and it stalled and the build has come to a grinding halt. For some undisclosed reason the car will not now be completed until the 26th.
Interesting that MarkA_'s car that was ordered after mine and has similar spec and also went into build on the 19th will complete today.................. All I can read into the news that I got yesterday is that my car has been damaged or has been so poorly built that it has to go back to have remedial work done to it............... here we go with another rattly and battery flattening Evoque? I will have waited so long for this car that it had better be as well put together as a Rolls Royce or Bentley or even an Audi or BMW when I do finally get hold of it

My expected delivery date is still the same as your's - 7th Apr, so I assume that it's just going to be rolling off the production line built into a holding pen waiting for an InControl update along with yours. I am still being optimistic, though I understand why you are not.

Built two days early, and now a mere THREE AND A HALF WEEKS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE, my Evoque has arrived at the dealer! (maybe it really *was* on the docks when BBC did that report recently!) I got the email well after business hours, so tomorrow will be a flurry of phone calls to insurance agent, credit union, salesman and paint protection film installer. Pickup Friday, or at worst Saturday.
So excited!
