The 83' MG Metro Turbo could be had in the same range of colours as the standard MG Metro 1300, our turbo was in Cinnabar Red. Ours was a great little car especially with the mod to wind up the turbo boost!.

There were lots of BRM,s there as indeed there were last year. There was even a double ended Rover 75 Shocked That was a real oddity lol but very funny.
This is an event I have NEVER missed.

I hope not, my Fl2 is due in 3 weeks, and it's supposed to be coming in Mauritius blue.

I do now remember the red. Ours was an 82 and I think the only had the 2 colours then and I don't recall seeing the blue that was available on the non turbo.

Flat colours were White, Black and Red, metalics were Silver, Light Blue and Light Green. This was for the Mk 1, which had the same colour range as the non turbo. I think on the face lifted model circa 85' there was also a dark metalic blue called Moonraker which may have replaced the light blue.

Thanks, Reminds me must contact my Brother, he's part of the BRM club and goes too, he has part ownership of Chassis 1 if I remember correctly.

If you still had that & it was in a very good order the value would be getting pretty strong now!! I know a guy with an 83 Turbo in Cinnebar & I know he would never part with it but if it was on the market I would say 5 to 6 Thousand £'s.I had an 86 Mint non Turbo & sold it 4 years ago & I am regretting it now & looking for another!

I have an si4 and am curious what it is worth. I don't generally like diesels but the reason I got the petrol is because I was offered a cancelled order

Car is very high spec dynamic with lux and rear entertainment, contrast pano roof. Black with grey/cream interior (persuit)

Has about 2.5k miles on it, July 12

Was thinking new rr sport hence the question

For a "starter"valuation you could try WeBuyAnyCar's website, bestvplacecto go though is a dealer, BUT if you haven't already ordered a new RRS don't expect to get one before this time next year at the earliest as build slots are evaporating - same with the new FFRR but you can get a new Evoque in about a month now

I think this shows that over-specifying your car and especially non-standard modifications will not only show higher depreciation but may actually deter buyers making things worse.

Even ignoring options and mods, my RRE - Si4 Coupe Dynamic - is likely to be the fastest depreciating model variant and those planning to buy a petrol RRS need to go in to it with open eyes - horrendous depreciation.

The higher depreciation is to my mind acceptable because of the quieter running and much better performance.
