I asked about paint protection and was quoted £250 for Guard X, is that a good deal or can anyone recommend where in London I can get it done?

If you're at Park Royal then give Alfie at Over the Rainbow detailing a call - he's an authorised GTechniq detailer.

Drop me a PM and I can give you his number - he's about 5 mins from Lookers.

Got an email from the dealer saying that my cars arrived and its at the valet bay. Do you guys know how long it usually takes to prepare a car for delivery? I am without a car at the moment as my previous car got stolen. I've asked them to expedite the process and deliver on Saturday. Does that seem reasonable or does it take a while to complete PDI?

PDI is only 3 hours so the rest won't take long, just depends on how long the dealer takes to get it registered at the nearest taxation office, I know some wait until they have 5-6 cars to do at once if the office is a distance from the showroom

Thanks Tim, I've been assigned a numberplate which starts with LL, just looked it up and its the Stanmore registration office. Fingers crossed that it gets registered in time. Smile

Picked up my Evoque this afternoon, loving every moment so far. Came with a full tank of fuel. Santotini black with the tan interior looks great in person. Will post some photos tomorrow.

Here are a few quick photo's of the Evoque taken yesterday. Handover took about an hour an a half to go through all the paperwork and quick overview of the main features. Very happy with it so far, got the car with 23 miles on the clock, just ticked over 100 this evening. Very Happy

Congrats - looks great!

We must have been at LPR around the same time as I was picking my car up from its service.
