Hi Tim, I didn't buy from LPR but they are my closest dealer. At the time I placed my order LPR's build slots were many months later than I was able to get with another dealer.

Running through the issues this morning they were very surprised at the defects that had passed through quality control and the PDI....

I'm about to place a deposit for my next Evoque and LPR are in the running based on the service I've seen so far.

My Evoque is the 3rd Range Rover I have bought from them, and like you I will probably go back unless my local dealer has slots available earlier for my next car. I was set on another Evoque but if James has a nice FFRR or an RRS that I like in stock at the right price then I'm flexible over which RR I buy. My folks were trying recently to persuade me to have a Disco4 next as that is the easiest car in the range for them to get in and out of but I really don't need the space of a Transit van all the time.

Doug, the response when I mentioned the rear light cluster while booking in the car was "we'll order a replacement" so it may be a known issue.

Ultimately I paid a lot of money for this car so don't expect it to have these types of issues so soon into ownership.

I'll keep this post updated once it goes in week after next.

Keep the updates coming. Highly appreciate them.
Has anyone gotten this?

It's normal and there is a comment about it in the owners' manual. Every Land and Range Rover I have owned has suffered from it, some worse than others. On the Disco3 forums and RRS forums they had a cure that involved removing the lamp cluster and drilling a tiny vent hole from the car side into the backing, don't do it from the outside side or your lamps will fill up with rain/ deep water wading water!

My VE HSV GTS did that only on one tail light at delivery, I got it replaced and it never happened again. A tail light that is properly sealed shouldn't do that I dont reckon.

Mine is going in on Tuesday for my niggles to be fixed, so far I have:

1: rattle from the tailgate area (driving me loopy!!)
2: creaking drivers seat
3: drive train whine under load while climing up hills
4: I now also have a leaking passenger door and with all the rain we have had in the uk it needs sorting ASAP!

I am also not happy with the bolsters and loss of shape in the drivers seat having only done 6k in the car but I'll see what they have to say next week.

I am in the UK and I have the Dynamic SD4, manual. Collected beginning of March.
I have a few problems and am not getting very far with the dealer at the moment.
1. All callipers are already rusty
2. Leather seats have threads coming through perforations
3. Gears sometimes crunch (going into reverse and first)
4. Sat Nav screen has gone black on couple of occasions
5. Rattling of drivers side air vent
6. Engine has failed to start on a few occasions - we have had to lock car & reopen then it starts
7. Paid extra for premium mats but have got standard
8. Sometimes the Eco doesn't work
Will post any updates I get.

Lol dusty clippers are normal mate. Regards to 1st and reverse being hard to get in I would say your clutch needs adjustment, sounds like it isn't disengaging fully. Here's my current cars front calipers. The dirty pic is a months worth. No this is not on my evoque Smile
