RE: Ride quality worries. - mark_n - 21-05-2012 09:10am The Evoque is by far the most comfortabl car I have ever had and that is with 20" wheels. The idea the the AD Sport Mode hardens the ride to spine-breaking point is laughable. If anything, the RRE is a bit soft and roly-poly for this sports car driver. RE: Ride quality worries. - XFullFatTim - 21-05-2012 09:47am The RRE is a very good compromise between the feather bed rolly polly ride of pre-2011MY FFRR's and the like of an Audi riding on sportline suspension. The later FFRR's have a very sophisticated electronically controlled anti-roll bar system along with their air suspension that is eons detached from the pre-2011MY (to the extent that owner say it is too hard but really it makes the car corner flat, which is no mean achievement in a 2.5t and 2.3m high barge!). Yes you feel the odd bump and jolt in an AD equipped RRE, but even in the non-AD cars the ride is hardly likely to make you seasick or rattle your fillings out! RE: Ride quality worries. - Belvoirbloke - 22-05-2012 07:36am What a good garage Melton Mowbray, going to lend me a car for the day to see if the ride is better in another car to see if mine is not set up right . Next Wednesday, what a tense day that will be. |
