as per my thread on the day, handover was brilliant, full tank of fuel, LR Teddy and car delivered to me at home on 29th Feb (with 12 plates), all superb - (thanks Iain at Macrae & Dick, Inverness).

Follow up call a few days later to check all OK and letter since giving contacts in the dealership and letting me know to expect the survey.

Done around 1000 miles in the car now and no issues Smile very happy with the Evoque!

Yes I got a follow up call the next day, was at work at the time but he left a message.

Thanks all - bit of a mixed bag really in terms of customer experience. I'm just wondering if this should be fed
back in someway to LR or even name n shame, or am I just wasting my time. I will have to go back for servicing etc.

Handover was great, all in all around 1.5 hours and got a guided tour around the car. Nothing less than the German experience and i've had a few. Got half a tank of juice which seems good compared to others, can't complain really.

No, none.

Mind you, they did make a concerted attempt to overcharge me by £3700, and now they've had their commission.

Not sure how much repeat business they do - certainly there'll be none from me.

As Promised and right on que, our sales guy called both myself and Mrs Mac this morning to see if everything was ok and to thank us for our custom. I know I keep saying this but he and the dealership are Excellent!!

In addition to this the LR Customer Services people also called first thing Monday to make sure everything was ok.

Overall EXCELLENT Service so far, Don't know what you all keep Moaning About!!

Not in the slightest bit interested once I'd taken delivery.

Ordered end October 2011 (Prestiege SD4 2.2 diesel, Lux, Pano roof, solar glass, silver), picked up 16 March 2012, kept informed all the time by dealer, 1 hour tour of car & important functions, full tank of diesel, basket of flowers + chocolates + bottle of wine and LR Experience voucher. All in all excellent service.

Apart from drop dead gorgeous the stand out feature? Park assist! tried it and my jaw dropped; wife tried it and hasn't spoken since! Small issues: forward parking sensor operation (so different to Merc), no warning triangle or first aid kit (a la Merc) - small things for a £45k car.

But it is a beaut!

mpw - Coming from a Merc, I quickly adjusted to the fact that to operate the front parking sensors (when not reversing), the button needs to be pressed. I did think it would take a lot longer to adjust than it actually did. It has been posted that the reason for this is that the sensor would be impractical for off road use, which makes complete sense.

Agree re the warning triangle and first aid kit - would have been minimal cost for JLR and little things mean a lot!

Happy motoring!
