Remaps all the ECU's so the systems peform at the best settings for the conditions. the most noticeable thing from the driver's seat is how unresponsive the throttle pedal becomes, you can push it all the way to the floor and it feels like nothing is happening. It is very impressive - in December 2009 I was in the SE of Englend when it got cut off from the rest of the UK and had to drive home on the 22nd December. The trip north was great with clear ploughed roads until I reached Gretna and there was a line of white across the road at the border that stretched all the way to Stirling. Stuck trucks and lesser marques of cars like Porsches and BMW's but all the Disoc3s/RRS's Freelander2's and FFRR's just selected the Snow setting and followed the escorting police FFRR up the hard shoulder. I was on 20" summer tyres driving in 10-15cms of snow at 45-50mph and it felt just like I was on a normal dry road. Only problem was keeping the headlights from getting snowed up and the front screen clear.

Snow in Jerez. Shocked That will be they day the locals think the world will have come to an end. Just spoke to a friend of mine who lives there and it was 18 deg. I am a bit jealous now the whole F1 testing circus is in town.

I am planing to visit Jerez early March so don't be shocked if you see 1 more dark blue Evoque running through town.

M54 and a5 both blocked so I used the back b roads. Felt a bit guilty passing people who were stuck but I didn't have time to push them all. Mine is on Pirelli Scorpion verde all season m+s tyres. Love it, if I'd have gone in the 5er I'd still be in stoke
All down to Martin O'neil top manager

Not a hope....he wouldn't get on with Roman. And something is very wrong when a 3 nil lead doesn't win you a game.

Exactly what I thought but have you actually tried this in your car? I think you'll find it doesn't do that at all. In my Si4, having snow mode engaged allows me to still pull away with full power.

I haven't tried it in the Evoque ( haven't been in the UK when there has been snow so far this winter) but in my FFRR's and RRS's it was very very impressive as you could put your foot flat to the food and the car would hardly accelerate and build up speed very gradually.
