Not sure if this may be related to recalls here in Australia:

27 Feb 2013

VIN range: SALVA2AE7CH687968 - SALVA2BG1CH688422
What are the defects?
The driver may experience abnormal noise from the rear of the vehicle when driving or when the brakes are applied. In rare cases, this may indicate that one or both of the brake caliper fixings could become detached from the vehicle.
What are the hazards?
This may lead to loss of a brake circuit function and possible sudden deflation of a tyre, increasing the risk of a vehicle accident.

VIN range: SALVA2BG0CH704223 - SALVA2AE6DH713526
What are the defects?
The driver could experience abnormal noise from the front of the vehicle during low speed manoeuvring. In rare cases, this may indicate a fatigue fracture in one or both of the steering gear mount fixings.
What are the hazards?
If both bolts fail, this may compromise the turning circle of the vehicle, possibly posing a hazard to the driver and other road users.

LTB00532 - Hill Start Assist Applied During Low Speed Manoeuvres

Interesting cjfp!

Thanks Amadeus, although I don't think either of those are related to the Hill Start Assist.

How can this not be a recall issue Banging Head

If both bolts fail, your steering rack will fall off and you WILL crash. Another recall ?

They are both recalls already.
