My Merc has just about auto everything, a really good feature is the drivers door mirror also has auto dimming, is that available on the Evoque? I've gone for the fancy mirrors option.

Thanks ezandania. It's a while since I read the book. Thumbs Up

Very nice!

I agree, looks great(lusting after the xenons which I don't have). Can I ask, did you specifically ask for 19 inch style 4 instead of the 20 inch style 6 alloys, and did you ask for the Pirelli scorpion tyres too...all the demonstator / cars in dealership with 19 inch alloys(prestige) I've seen have continental cross contact tyres which I think aren't an all season tyre (I might be wrong there but the tread looks like a standard summer tyre tread while the scorpions have sips and more complex tread).

A silly little thing I noticed with the stop/start was pulling up at your destination of course you put it in neutral and the engine cuts, then of course you just hit the stop button just to turn off the dash displays as the engines already stopped, I assume if you just got out and locked the car it would turn itself off so no need to hit stop at all, have to try that tomorrow!

Hi Craig, yes I down graded to 19" for easier access to winter tyre options and wasnt keen on the early pics of the 20" as it turns out they look great, but I was as surprised as you I got Pirelli's as all 19" i've seen have Continental cross contact too, which are M+S (mud and snow) so still be fine as an all season. Maybe something to do with Dynamic vs Prestige 19"...?

Sweet shots Smile
Oh migosh Phil! Those alloys are so clean - remind me of mine when the car arrived. Now they are like an anthracite version lol. I'm a big fan of the 19" style 4 - prefer them to the 20" (changed my order actually). Very fussy when it comes to wheels!

Thanks Evoquess

It's not so clean since these photos!

Had a little hiccup with the start/stop pulled up at traffic lights as usual engine cut, lights go green put the clutch down... no re-start!!! luckily just re-clutched and it started! Bit odd and all happened so quickly not sure if maybe i'd been riding clutch pedal slightly or something.

Also noticed the ECO button setting is remembered, once off... stays off even after restart! Edit... no it doesn't! On every time!

Few more pics from the rear!
