It looks like the demonstrator Evoques that have arrived in NSW took approx 6 weeks to arrive on our shores.

I used a VIN of an Evoque which is on Carsales.com to checkup how long it had taken. As posted on another thread on this site, you can use the following site to track the status of shipment. http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep/index.jsp and then you can use the vessel name from the result to track its position at http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/

Cheers,

OMG THIS IS FANTASTIC! I was able to track my shipment and it is being delivered by a Swedish ship by the name of FIGARO, due to arrive in CA on 31 October now I got to get my dealership to pick that puppy up. they have me down for delivery on the 10th of Nov. I am too excited I can't sleep my wife is from Sweden, should I wake her......lol

This is good news for you guys! The boat picture makes sense now.

I have seen this ship in the Southampton port when I have been passing by, there is also a big compound nearby where the Jaguar Land Rover Rovers are stored ready for export.

From memory the last time I went past there were all the colours of the rainbow destined for a new life!

Hope the time flies by for you all, mine seemed to take forever and it was only being delivered about 150km from the plant to where I live.

Yours will only come a couple of hundred Kms from Southampton to Wilhelmshaven or Amsterdam................... Southern North sea in the winter can be as bad as the North Atlantic Ocean. I had rolling on a containership of 45/50 degrees off Terschelling and Texel no containers lost but our sistership lost 70 onto the beach at Texel and then a week later another 70 over the side in the Bay of Biscay. That's what you have insurance for.
Most I lost was 25 in one storm down at 52 south between Durban and Freemantle, including new 7 BMW's and 6 new Jaguars in containers going to new owners in Australia and New Zealand and now rusting on the bottom of the south Indian Ocean.
