RE: Australian Deliveries - Evoque U - 12-01-2012 10:34am Yes we have lift off. Recieved a call from my salesman today after he returned from holidays, my car was built last week on the 5th Jan and should be delivered start of March. After ordering in August for a Jan 2012 build it is spot on time, have used our VIN number and checked out Topix. Must say my experience with Land Rover has been nothing but excellent. RE: Australian Deliveries - benzina - 12-01-2012 12:30pm Your doing well....I also ordered august for a November build, which was delayed to a Dec 21 build date, and for a delivery of late Feb....hopefully. Like everyone else, you also got on topix virtually straight after recieving vin, where as i waited about 3 weeks for it to appear, and may not have appeared at all, if i did'nt ask about what was going on. Anyway,we have turned the corner, and on the downhill run home now to getting our cars.....lets enjoy the run up. RE: Australian Deliveries - spif888 - 14-01-2012 09:00am Saw these four babies near Austral awaiting delivery. 1. Dynamic TD4 2. Pure SD4 3. Pure SI4 4. Prestige TD4 [attachment=1186] Australian Deliveries - gead - 15-01-2012 12:10am Mine came off the boat yesterday, anyone have any idea how long it takes from getting off the ship to being ready for delivery? Mine is coming off the boat on the 18th in Brisbane and from what I can gather it can take up to 2 weeks. I hope that helps! Australian Deliveries - gead - 15-01-2012 01:41am Yep, on the Toscana, when I was on holiday in Perth I could see it moored off the coast for two days.....very frustrating....so close but so far! I was expecting LR Trivett Sydney at least tried harder to negotiate and settle the difference! But they are not giving a cent of discount, so beware !Hi fellow forum members ( remember me! ), I am back and with a big smile , as I am getting my new Evoque tomorrow afternoon, although its a different model and specs, but it has more options plus free front & back mud guard flaps. All these with the same change over price , but from a different car dealer in Sydney. Original cancelled order from LR Trivett : SD4 dynamic, 5 doors auto, Ferenze,Tech pack, 20" style 6,adaptive xenon, surround camera, dual view screen, park assist and pano roof, keyless entry. New Evoque from Purnell LR : SI4 Prestuge , 5 door,FUji white, Tech pack, 19" style 5, surround camera, dual view screen, park assist, pano roof, keyless entry, rear seat entertainment, hybrid tv ,privacy glass,,premium 825 watt audio, cool climate and free front & back mud flaps. After cancelled order with Trivett, I was feeling down and disappointed as they didn't bother to call back and try to negotiate .As I was trying to sell my Lexus ,privately( horrible experience ), decided to venture outside CBD, and pay a visit to PURNELL LR in Blakehurst , Sydney. So happen , they have a 5doors Si4 Prestige ,all the options and plus more, paying the same change over cost . I bought the Evoque right on the spot , they even throwing free front & back mud flaps!!! Received a phone call , to collect the car tomorrow afternoon. I'll let the fellow forum members be the judge ! Which one is a better Deal A lesson learned, it pays to do a bit of leg work , and visit various dealers , remember to negotiate ( even if its a popular new model car), and stick to your price range, assess if one has been treated fairly ? Not weeks of No news , emails and communication. If a car salesman told me that he promised to ring or email on that day, after a week of "waiting", and Nothing happened. I would be disappointed and feel being treated as unworthy customer. Certainly would not recommend LR Trivett . PS I did receive my refundable deposit of $3000 , thank god. Good Evoque Hunting everyone. RE: Australian Deliveries - RonnieNavani - 19-01-2012 02:32pm Nice work Occlusion!! And Congrats mate...
