What did you think of the Mauritius?

I had never seen one properly, it's nice but the blue is just a bit wishy washy for me!

In good company today as I passed Buckingham Palace, Prince William was driving in the gates in his nice New Daddy RR!

I bet he didn't have to wait for 4-6 months like other buyers!

Or have to leave it in the dealers for 10 days while they fix the rattles and squeaks!

Which I don't mind if they have, so here's hoping they have... when I finally see mine again!

Finally picked mine up and the silence is Bliss! Big Thanks to Guy Salmon Stratford-upon-Avon for persevering and taking initiative locating the rattle, Very impressive you cannot tell the headlining has been out, I was skeptical it would ever go back the same but it really is like it's never been out!

Let's hope it stays rattle and squeak free. Cool

My Yorkshire trip this Christmas (http://babyrr.com/forum/Thread-Where-s-Evo-Been-2) saw a very nice 43.2mpg on the way up, thanks to 2 sections of 50mph on the M1, although once on the Moors it was returning 34mpg with the hills and twisty roads.

Total silence all trip with no rattles after it's 10 day stint in the dealers! But on the return journey after a wet then cold overnight snap the passenger window started ratting in the socket, you could lower it a touch, the rattle would stop, and then re-start again, raise it again and same brief rest-bite. So will have to look into treating the rubbers, although once warmed up it was fine again.

Up on the Moors this was sooooo the car to have, small enough for the little lanes and confident enough through Deep fords and fast moving fog and slippery roads, no problem with the heavy winds either.

Not so many as round home, but still saw a few each day while out, definitely becoming a sell-out car, maybe the warmer winter this year and lack of snow will curtail the flood of cars... but I doubt it, and it's gotta be good for JLR.

The heated rear view door mirrors definitely work, this morning they had steam rising off them!

But also learned that leaving the window down while reversing round a corner has a downside, the water on the roof decided to all pour off the pano roof side, into the window and directly onto my leg, soaking me! D'oh!

You should fit those Climair wind deflectors then Phil

The nice sunshine brought this out in my rear lens a few weeks ago, dealer agreed to replace it since there were drips leading to water pooling in the fitting, but the lights were on back order so a wait was in order, but a Big thanks to Pete in LRCS for chasing this through and I now have a nice new clear light fitting under warranty Very Happy
