Then its the agonising wait knowing that the car is in the country. Amusingly, it will also be shipped from Melbourne down to Geelong (where the dealer is), at which time I will head down to Geelong, pick it up, then drive back to Melbourne.

My boat the Platinum Ray has been delayed by 3 days for some reason!!! it must have liked the weather in brisbane as it was there for 3-4 days 
. it' now due in Melb's on the 18th... i hope!

Inch by inch... The car is with LR currently, and will soon be transported to the dealer. Unfortunately the delivery company has up to 48 hours to deliver it, which means if it doesn't go soon, it may not arrive until early next week - and the local dealer says they need a further week after that for pre-delivery prep
The timing matters because I can only do the pick up on a Saturday, so if they miss the 30th, I would be car-less until the 7th. Given there are no dealer fit options (e.g. tow bar, rails etc) I suggested that a week seemed rather long and I would be most appreciative if they could pull their fingers out
Will wait and see I guess. Either way, not long now

My SD4 Pure arrives in Fremantle on 02/7/12 and leaving for Melbourne same day arriving 7/7/12. How long does it take from landing to receiving your RRE? I realise you dont have it yet, my pick up is in WA. The ship leaves REUNION island tomorrow and then straight to FREO.....the wait is just killing me,,,,

A lot of WA folk on here! My SD4 dynamic isn't built for another 5 weeks and then I await the call from Barbagallos to come pick it up. Still in the process of flicking my supercharged VE SS Commodore ... I'm a bit worried though as I've taken a deposit on it but I've heard nothing from the buyer in 10 days!
