RE: Are you a conquest sale? - cutter7 - 25-08-2011 01:38pm I'm looking forward to being shovel free this winter. RE: Are you a conquest sale? - XFullFatTim - 25-08-2011 01:40pm I wouldn't bank on it, still worth putting one in so you can dig out those who are blocking your way! RE: Are you a conquest sale? - cutter7 - 25-08-2011 01:42pm Nice one, never thought about that! RE: Are you a conquest sale? - XFullFatTim - 25-08-2011 01:48pm The only problem is when there is ice on the roads.............. 4WD won't stop you any faster than any other car on ice, even with the TR, the laws of physics still apply on ice unless you have an illegal set of studded tyres! Only if you fit winter tyres RE: Are you a conquest sale? - DynamicRRV - 25-08-2011 08:41pm Had Full Fats for the last 8 years and Discoveries for 3 years previous. RE: Are you a conquest sale? - abcya - 25-08-2011 08:58pm Never had a LR or RR but was one of the first to have Gerry McGovern's MGF. I have a pic somewhere of him beside my car when he had hippyish long hair. Not sure that look quite fits with those design interviews he did for the Evoque. RE: Are you a conquest sale? - XFullFatTim - 25-08-2011 09:49pm It is interesting to see how many folks are moving from FFRR's into the Evoque, not something LR will be very happy about! RE: Are you a conquest sale? - xxxx5 - 25-08-2011 09:56pm Interesting thread. I am coming to the RR brand following 12 years of Benz and BMW. I am interesting to see how I get treated by the dealers, as I have a fantastic relationship with my BMW dealer. RR dealers are going to need to work hard for repeat business. I see getting a RRE as the first step, I would be interested in a RRS when they are a little bit more fuel efficient. RE: Are you a conquest sale? - PhilSkill - 25-08-2011 10:20pm Never even considered a Land/Range rover before but always buy what I like the look of basically, have owned Japanese now for a few cars and always been pleased with reliability and especially pleased with Mazda dealer I use currently as even done warranty work when car was past warranty. Land Rover have this one chance to prove they can be as good if not better with me. I know i'l love the car, but will I love the Marque/Dealers Service etc... this remains to be seen! |
