Only for RRS and Disco from my LR UK link, nothing for the Evoque.

Just configured up a 2014 Dynamic, £5000 dearer if I started again adding a few options to mine, and you have to buy Range Rover wheel centres, illuminated tread plates, aeroflip on Dynamic now.

New 19" diamond polished wheel available, new style, and style 14 6 spoke like RRS new wheels.

The Build your own option is top right on Evoque page.

So they have made the illuminated tread steps an option now? If that's the case they are taking the p***. I could understand MG Rover pennypinching as the pot was empty but for a manufacturer with sales like these they really are despicable. This sort of attitude may put me off buying another!

We have ourselves to blame - an awful lot of people said the illuminated treads were cheap and tacky......... so now you have them as an expensive option instead.

The German one is also up and running

Just configured MY14 for fun, again and ended up at €65,500.

Well I've just tried to build my new car on the UK one and it won't work from an iPad, the interior options just don't show and then you cannot get back to the previous page and on the exterior features section once you are in the option packs you cannot add them and close the window (at least on my ipad I couldn't see the X to close the option pack window). Sorry but if I hadn't already sampled an Evoque the clunkiness of the UK website on an iPad would put me off buying the car - in this day and age the internet is now the primary means for speccing a car as people don't want the hassle of going to a dealership and being either trampled in the rush of sales persons or totally ignored by sales persons. Nil pointes to LR iT team I'm afraid when people are looking to spend so much on a car the smooth and easy operation of the manufacturers website is probably 75% of the sales effort - if the website is crap potential customers look elsewhere. Sorry LR but it has to work well on all formats of web access these day not just on Windows8 or Safari.

Mine is £6k more expensive, mainly because the Si4 engine is becoming an even rarer beast and only available in the most expensive version which bundles in stuff you may not want like dual view. At close to £50k, it's getting quite expensive.

A lot of car companies would be well advised to spend some time studying the Tesla configurator which is clear, easy to use and well presented.

Works okay on my iPad, but contains many glaring errors. For example, add Pure Style Pack (£1750) and it automatically also adds "Seating 6/4 Way" at a cost of £900 which can't be removed. And adding the Pure Style Pack doesn't add fog lights to the picture.

Will JLR take note of our feedback to correct these errors?
