I wouldnt class a RRE with 300bhp an RS! In a car weighing as much as the Evoque - needs atleast 400bhp to be given that badge.

Tend to agree... Am happy there is a more powerful Evoque coming however RS should be reserved to a true performance model. Maybe this one shoud be an 'R'?

I'm presuming that they will wait till the hype of the MY 14 is over if its going to happen.

I have been emailed a photo of a page of what looks like this week's Auto-Express with an item and photo of the test mule RS Evoque. Will be going to WH Smiths later so will take a look and will see if I can find the item

OK so I've been and browsed the shelves. We know as much as Auto-Express - 300bhp, deeper front intakes and the photo is a black Pure 5 door with some Atlantic Storm camoflage over the wheel arches and bonnet, otherwise the mule looks like any other 5 door Evoque - it looks like the disguise over the wheel arches is just there to fool, they don't appear any larger than standard issue and the wheels look like standard 18" Evoque Pure wheels too........... no interior shots either. There is also a bit about the RRS RS - and a photo of it on the 'Ring in the usual white and grey disguise wrap.

That Macan looks ok from front, until you get to those Kia cum' Chrysler horrific rear light clusters. They just lost a potential customer with that faux pa

Am being tempted by the SQ5 next. They needed to shoehorn a V6 into the Evoque.
Might just drop into the Audi dealers in the next few weeks.

We saw the Macan at the evoque meet that was during a Porsche meet, and I thought the same, rear lights looked very dull.
