RE: Window washer fluid level sensor - XFullFatTim - 04-05-2013 09:32am xxxx5, please don't tar all dealers with the same brush, there are some fantastic, customer orientated outlets out there, I'm know for sure that the same it true with Audi and BMW ( I've experienced crap service from both brands locally before I started buying Land Rovers). I expect Mercedes and VW et al also have some truly terrible dealers/ service outlets. I will never ever own a Mercedes car or a BMW car again after being told to my face by salespersons that I could not afford to buy one of their products! I would be driving an Audi A6 All Road now had any of the 3 local Audi dealerships actually followed up my visits to their showrooms, but none of them seemed to want to sell me a new car.......... And things have been no better with my interest in the SQ5 - not one of the dealers I contacted (that's three of them all part of the Lookers Group now but they were Lomond Group up to three weeks ago) has followed up my requests for information and a test drive! And I would be a conquest sale from their major competition if I ever got a chance to try the product! Had the same service from Stratstone LR when trying to arrange test drives for my current car, I must say my local Audi dealer has been very good over ten years service but I might've got lucky. As you say all brands have there faults but sloppy service must be flagged up and referred to someone in authority or nothing improves. The bigger groups appear to be worst IMO. |
