Pretty sure they are the stuck-on sort not the in-built bonnet sort ... they look too proud of the bonnet to me. I may be wrong of course. RE: Evoque Number 3, 1500 miles done. - XFullFatTim - 16-04-2013 10:30pm If you open the bonnet you will see if they are just stuck on or not. If you have the real deal then there are cut outs through the bonnet and you will see daylight RE: Evoque Number 3, 1500 miles done. - ChuckieB - 16-04-2013 10:33pm 5 door so likely to have been added. Good spot though! RE: Evoque Number 3, 1500 miles done. - CSJ - 22-04-2013 06:25pm Hi everyone Thanks for the comments, to answer the questions that have been raised Some of the pics were taken at Highclere Castle (unfortunately I do not live there!!) I have changed the letters from the standard ones. Its quite an easy job to do as long as you are patient. These things are always a matter of taste its just that I think that the darker letters look better on white, silver or grey cars. Having had 2 Evoque coupes the only thing which is missing from the 5 door is the bonnet vents. I cannot justify ( to my mind) the extra £1k for a coupe over a 5 door when the 5 door looks so good and is more practical. Also the vents on the coupe are purely cosmetic and are not required from an engineering perspective. I thought I would try some vents which I put on myself and am very happy with the result, also if I dont like them they are easy to remove. I do not think it is worth getting a whole new bonnet just for the vents, even a dealer did not spot the difference until you actually look through them! for me its a good and effective compromise, I made my own template from my coupe and they are no more proud from the bonnet than the coupe ones are. Everyone has different tastes, its my car and I like it. Have also now done 2000 miles and the interior is holding up very well, just a wipe of the drivers seat every couple of weeks keeps it looking like new. Some friends who have just got a new BMW were at pans to point out to me that my interior makes their BMW look like an old mans car lol RE: Evoque Number 3, 1500 miles done. - funguf - 28-08-2013 10:26pm (11-04-2013 10:42am)CSJ Wrote: I finally got my third Evoque, and pleasingly after 1500 miles I don't have any issues with it! Hey There, Out of curiosity, what were the 13 faults on the original car? Cheers RE: Evoque Number 3, 1500 miles done. - XFullFatTim - 30-08-2013 12:30am I never thought that the cream Plus pack seats would have a black moulding on their backs, it looks good in that colour scheme. I'm very taken with the tan Plus pack apart from I think there is too much black in the interior with that option.
