I wonder what their perfect car is? Pure/Dynamic, Auto,(obviously not manual) White/Black, Tech Pack???? 5 door is way more saleable than 3 door for sure, not sure about the rest.

Im not sure why manuals are not wanted? I bloody hate driving auto's. I would choose a manual on any car i own every time.

I'm not bothered either way, I've got an auto car and the wife has a manual, I still haven't decided what we'll get if we order an Evoque.Looking at Autotrader approx 70% of Evoques are auto, whereas Freelander favour manual.I guess the dealers want what they can resale quickest.

I got a reply and he said he would value my car once I'd given my registration . . . still waiting for him to come back to me . . . typical Land Rover customer service methinksRolling Eyes

Terrible service to come on here and ask for punters then ignore them, poor poor poor!

RE: WANTED - Evoque - Wicksy - 06-03-2013 07:32pm

They did eventually get back to me with an offer of 26k for my 2011 (December) Pure Tech Fuji SD4 5-dr with 11k on the clock with panoramic roof, power tailgate, fogs, hids/running lights and 20in style 6 alloys, all in pristine condition. I paid 34k new and a drop of 8k in 14 months is pretty hard to take.

I'm hopeful that I will get more elsewhere.

Just sold my car to clive from Hadley Green. Nice fella, easy transaction, no hassle or trying to drop agreed price and money straight in bank.

Got 90% of what i paid for car almost a year ago, a loss of £3000. Yes i might have got another grand from a private sale but is it really worth the hassle of idiots and tyre kickers?

To be honest if i had bought a 12k ford fiesta a year ago I would have lost more on it.

I think about £250 a month to run round in a evoque is cheap as chips.

I believe from James that nobody has been ignored or not responded to except somebody who contacted HGG trying sell them something that was not an Evoque. So I think your post is a a bit OTT Macs.

Sounds like a good deal. Very Happy

Are you going for another Evoque or moving on to different vehicle?
