It's not very elegant but have you tried a visor extesion made from a piece if cardboard held in place with a long heavy duty rubber band to extend the depth of the visor?

Not yet, it really only needs to be a long triangle added to e right hand side of the visor. Think the other half is going to try some Heath Robinson effort at the weekend!! It'll give me a laugh if nothing else
