Sounds like he is on the wind up. We are business partners and buying a car each through the company. Ideally both wrapped with our logo on so the same car made sense. Maybe he sees a problem being our company logo is pink....

I love the Evoque but he is trying to get me into the new Q5. I know Audis are well built cars but I think a Q5 looks boring.
Here are a few quickly knocked up mocks of the car with our logos on.
What do you think?

Now if you really want a man's car get a Defender paint it in matte green and put a load of dents in it, nobody parks near you in car parks and you rarely have problems being let out into traffic from a side road........... If you want a hairdressers car buy a 3Series BMW, any version.

LOL.......

I don't think the pink logo suits he Evoque lines I'm afraid....... Might look better on a Q5 lol

Dbon, far more people will notice an Evoque than will notice a Q5, even without the wrap with the logo on it so go Evoque it attracts so much attention it could be free advertising for you! Even after a year on the market I still get asked by people what kind of car it is and find people looking into it in car parks.

I see far more blokes driving Evoques than lasses. Nearly all the RRS's around where I live (and there are many) are driven by lasses.

Thanks for your replies, it has put my mind at rest. We will just have to buy the car we both like. Will order mine this week.

Now the next dilema for me, do I get the new Prestige seats upgrade for the Dynamic? I know it costs a stupid amount of money and is clearly not actually worth the cost, but the do look nice....

Seats, if you are prepared to pay for the Luxury Seats of the Prestige in a Dynamic, then IMHO go for the Plus pack Recaro style seats. In my experience of 4 previous Range Rovers by far the most comfortable seat I've had in a car. You have to be prepared to micro-adjust the settings for the first week to get them exactly right but then you can programme that setting in the memory.

I'd say that the Evoque was a deliberate attempt by LR to attract more groups of customers to the brand than its traditional customers, and one of those groups was certainly women. As such, you can probably expect to see more women buyers/drivers than some of the other LR models, but that does not make it a girls' car!
