nah, 1 gallon is 4.54 litres
4.54 x 15km = 68.1 km per gallon
1 mile = 1.609 km so 68.1 / 1.609 = 42.34 mpg

I looked on the LPR approved used s ite today and they have some low miles late plater 4.4 TDv8's which a rexsupposed to be more economical than the 3.6's unfortunately 2of them are Black on black Vogue SE's, I would certainly consider chopping in the Evoque and my 90 for a Disco4 nw that serious off road stuff appears to have ground to a halt in our area so the 90 is now basically a tough boy shopping trolley for me and a Disco4 could easily cope with 95% of the fun I do now

Still miss my D3 and part of me wants to go back to the Disco and the other part says stick with the Evoque, love the Evoque but miss the command driving position of the Disco. Would possibly consider a RRS, maybe a bit more suited to a single guy, but at the moment I am happy with the lower VED and better fuel economy of the Evoque.

Horses for courses if you ask me. I'm under no illustion that they may be better Land Rover products out there quoting more or achieving more. From my perspective it is achieving better than the car i chopped it in for for so its a big plus for me and for what it is i'm happy. Getting 40 odd mpg overallis double what i'm used to.

Short distance rush hour town driving 20mpg is about right if not good... Why would you buy the SD4 to do that in anyway, great way to clog your DPF. See my sig, marked improvement from the car before (I also drive them very differently too, sure the Evoque could return 26 mpg with a heavy right foot!)
