Daglass,
What can I say other than impeccable taste, Orkney grey is the new black. Hope al goes well with the handover, you won't be disappointed with the evoque, I've had mine for just over a week and can't get over the excitement, just wish the weathervwould improve. Look forward to seeing some more pictures of yours.

Thanks guys.
Fingers crossed it all goes ahead tomorrow...having a slight hitch at the minute getting my cherished plate transferred.
Once that's sorted I'll get the insurance in place and hopefully I'll have it home for tea.

Well it's arrived and I'm very impressed.
Love the colour, driving position and all the gadgets-radio is amazing.

However, for the last couple of miles I turned the radio off to gauge road noise etc and was confronted with a rattle from the passenger seat that's so loud and annoying.

I took my father and father in law out in it and both agreed its unacceptable.

Up early and had another spin before heading off for work.
So much to love about the car but dear God the noise from the passenger seat is mental, creaking and cracking.
Fingers crossed for an easy/quick fix

Creaking and cracking noise sorted...hopefully.

Got home from work last night and armed with a flashlight got a good look at the seat.
After much poking around I found the problem - a small panel type tool wedged between the seat and the mounting rail.
Bit of brute force and it was removed in a few minutes.

Working this weekend but will get a good look round it on Sunday and add a few more pics and few more miles to the 40 currently on it.

That'll be one of those "Bonus Parts" mentioned in another thread! You could flog it off at vast price as a collectable item for Land Rovers on eBay.
