Land Rover and folding roofs Laughing it's got disaster written all over it. I wonder if you can still get a contrast roof.

With a contrast roof you'll probably looking to spend £500 more with or without the leaks....Laughing

And doesn't a folding roof add extra weight - which apparently the Evoque doesn't need with its exemplary mileage (sarcastic hrrmphh).
I had a folding hardtop on a VW Eos (MY200Cool and it was a special thing. Kids loved it and would show me their transformers toys. A convertible is a magical thing - unless it has an Evoque badge Wink

The eos (and covertible megane) were notorious for their poor designed roof... They all leaked more than a leaky thing in leaky town Surprised

As I understand it, LR have not even confirmed it's going to be built but difficult to believe it will not be. I think hard top convertibles present a styling challenge - I have an SL55 and it's sort of OK (IMHO) but the latest SL is (also IMHO) horrible.

Besides, having a rag top is all part of the fun, that incessant drip onto your head from a misaligned window seal...
