RE: Prestige interior - Daigriff - 10-06-2011 08:18am I've ordered an Ambience interior but am now thinking about Element - just wish I could see them both in the flesh side by side. My feeling at the moment is that the Ivory option is the warmer of the two interiors. However my indecision relates to the Espresso against the Sumatra Black - it looked great against the Barolo (which to my eyes never looked Black - just very very dark red) but I'm wondering how it will look against a proper Black Black. [/quote] I thought the Barolo black just looked a flatter black, whilst the sumatra was more sparkly...on the model. I'd probably have gone for the Barolo if available but think the espresso finish, because it's dark compliments the ivory and black exterior very well. RE: Prestige interior - cjfp - 10-06-2011 08:50am I agree, I had real trouble trying to see the red in Barolo. RE: Prestige interior - SW6RR - 10-06-2011 11:59am @ Blackseries - thanks, good vid, although I stick to my guns, I really don't like that white on white "lunar look" - I feel like you need some colour in there...! The exterior looks good and the interior looks good, I don't dispute that, but together I think it looks like a bloke wearing a white suit, with a white shirt and a black tie. In fact, I think I'm going to call that combo the "Peter Andre"... I kid, I kid... Griff - good to see I'm not going mad. I'm quite excited about the Spirit interior and I thought that the white coupe with the spirit interior at the Earls Court shows was the pick of the bunch (albeit, mine will be a 5-door). RE: Prestige interior - Charlie - 10-06-2011 03:29pm Love the white/spirit combination, you've definitely made the right choice RE: Prestige interior - paulus599 - 10-06-2011 08:16pm "Peter Andre .... how very dare you! I may have his six pack but I certainly don't share his taste in clothes or car interiors for that matter Really though, I do like the spirit interior but someone did say to me that it reminded them of a 70's sofa could date as quickly too RE: Prestige interior - cjfp - 10-06-2011 08:30pm Be careful your 'six pack' doesn't slide off the passenger seat when u too brake hard! RE: Prestige interior - Charlie - 10-06-2011 10:51pm Enough of Peter Andre, we know you like him really. Thanks for the video blackseries, do you think you'll change? Are the door panels the same colour as the panel topper and does ambiance come with wood or aluminium as standard (realise you can change) RE: Prestige interior - paulus599 - 10-06-2011 11:08pm (10-06-2011 08:30pm)cjfp Wrote: Be careful your 'six pack' doesn't slide off the passenger seat when u too brake hard! Yeah, mind you I've normally drank four of them before I get in the car, still a bugger when they spray all over my nice white suit though. What, you must think I'm insania RE: Prestige interior - Charlie - 10-06-2011 11:12pm I'm sure your white suits are older than Peter himself! True, they are more like ambience with a hint of spirit than white now |
