When I specced a mini countryman it came to £29500.00Shocked and tell me thats not over priced!!!then compare that to a RRE (PURE). You can guess which was better value for moneyCool

My son's Mini Cooper D hatch, albeit full spec, was £26k.

That is quite frightening. You could buy a hell of a lot of (not very old) used car for that sort of money...

My sons golf GTI DSG with five or six bits, nearly thirty grand. But they did give a full tank of fuel unlike my LR dealer.

Indeed. MINI dealer could give LR dealers a lesson or two, however. Slight issue with production and wasn't happy with the finished car. Went to view it and wasn't that happy...'no problem, sir, we'll order a new one.' Done, arrived one month later...they jumped the queue because a customer wasn't satisfied.
