Or am I being daft as you are paying for 20" wheels & by downgrading not getting any money back from LR & will it affect the resale price?

That said, I have a customer who owns a wheel and tyre centre (or 3) in Kent & I have just asked him about replacement tyre costs & he said there is (in his oppinion) very little difference in costs between 19 & 20 inch tyres. He said there used to be but not now though I guess it depends on where you buy them from!

It's worth considering that ALL the Dynamic press cars featuring in the UK car press have had 19" wheels on; even the latest test in this months CAR magazine, is on 19". Is this LR subtly telling us that the AD works best with 19" and only go for 20" if you don't have AD??

MrHooky

Thanks for your comments regarding Orkney Grey a more subtle look for me, and interesting to note it is lighter than Stornaway Grey.

The tyres are Pirelli Scorpion Verde 235/55 R19 105V M+S, the Verde's are new to me, more details here.

http://www.pirelli.com/tyre/gb/en/suv/sheet/scorpion_verde.html?url=%3Fsubtype%3DSUV%26filterbytech%3D%2B%26season%3DSUMMER%26use%3D1#.TxljgPFYCSM

despite the M+S description on the tyre, the manufacturer description shows it to be a very road biased tyre. They handle well, with reasonable stiff side walls in high cornering speeds (in contrast to the Freeloader).

Hope this helpsThumbs Up

I'm warming to the idea of having the 19's over the 20's. I spoke to the dealer & he seemed to think it lowers the tax band emmissions?

Have many Dynamic buyers gone for 19s & why?
