RE: have I got the full and proper Adaptive Xenons?? - fam1x - 10-01-2012 11:47am I have ordered adaptive xenons on my Pure to, which should be here next week The adaptiove xenons on the Pure cost more than just standard xenons do you recall what you paid for the lights? As I recall xenons were only £710 where as Adaptive xenons cost £1015. Found a Youtube this video which shows the adaption xenon hope that helps ? So there's an issue with yours (sorry, stating the obvious). I'm sure I have Xenons but what's the 'adaptive' bit actually mean? When I turn a corner there is a light that appears on the side I am turning towards but should (is) anything else happen? Thank you. The lights also swivel when the steering wheel is turned RE: have I got the full and proper Adaptive Xenons?? - XFullFatTim - 10-01-2012 05:38pm With RRS/D4 and FFRR the adaptives used to do a little "dance" when you started up with the lights on and also if you stopped for a while at night at traffic lights they would go through a self level and system check that made them swivel and then go up and down. I have adaptives on my RRE and they don't do this - they do have the cornering enhancement side light that also comes on if you are doing below 30mph and indicate to turn. RE: have I got the full and proper Adaptive Xenons?? - cjfp - 10-01-2012 05:38pm Update - I have used a member of my family to run backwards infront of the car as I drive and he confirms that my headlights do swivel ! Case closed. RE: have I got the full and proper Adaptive Xenons?? - cjfp - 10-01-2012 07:25pm @Ezandania - I tried to establish an answer for you but unfortunately he is getting on a bit now and couldn't run that fast, fell and I went over his legs!
