If you want to see another local red evoque - drive around by the train station in Llansamlet - not far from there.....
Funnily enough - also averaging ~ 37-38 in the car.

mine certainly dosesnt 'jiggle' on that stretch of road bluebear...or any other come to that!!

Thanks guys. I will be using it on short journeys until Thursday night and then travelling back north back up the A1. Hopefully it will bed in or I will ask the dealer to take a look.

I'd get the dealer to check it out bluebear (and drive one of their demonstrators to compare).
My steering doesn't behave like that at all.

My steering has no jiggle and is the most positive 4x4 I've driven, even at high speeds on the A1/M1 today it was solid, no jiggle almost steering it's self.

I took my car back after 100 miles and they say it had a faulty powered steering sensor but to be honest it still seems "twitchy" now. I came to the conclusion it was just me that was not used to the car but now you have pointed out just what I was experiencing. The car is fine at low speed and around town but seems to get "stiff" when it is over 50mph and seems worse when it has warmed up. Do you have 20" wheels by any chance?

Hi woodhouse, interesting and very useful so thanks for that. Since Sunday I've been doing short runs (at reasonable speeds)and its been great but on Thursday night I do the return trip home so that will be the acid test. Regarding the wheels, they aren't 20" but 19"
