Deposit January 2010! expected delivery sept 11, then consistently pushed back (lots of excuses and non returned phone calls...); the last I heard was 24/12. Decided to pull out & bought built evoque from another dealer!

Signed order and deposit in January 2011. A 2011 delivery is crucial for my company. Switched from eD4 to TD4 in April to assure the 2011 delivery, ha!
Last week I was given a build date (16 Dec) and a delivery date (end of Jan 2012). Now let's hope it doesn't change.
I think the randomness of all the deliveries is what bothers me most. If we have to wait, so be it, but some people seem to be favoured whether they have Xenons / pano roofs / ... or not.
By the way, I really think 6 weeks between production and delivery is quite long, even with the holiday season. Has anyone else in Europe noticed this? Are they getting one batch each month?

yes....my dep was placed last sept (2010)....collected car 14 Oct 2011.

Deposit placed in November 2010. After a couple of delays, I've was told the car would go into build on 3rd November but haven't had any confirmation yet (and haven't had time to follow up, but will phone the dealer today) If it's not on schedule for delivery next week it causes me significant inconvenience!

Placed my order December 2010 and latest is mid January delivery 2012. (SD4 coupe, firenze, verve, ebony)
What worries me is how many of us forum users are all expecting our cars 12th Jan, 19th, or similar!?

I placed my deposit in October 2010 and like Bluebear my build date WAS 3rd November (maybe our cars will be track buddies!) ...... 4 days before the 3rd it then changed to 7th November. So I wait with bated breath to see if the 7th brings the beginning of my new baby or not. I suppose the thing that annoys me the most is I know for certain I was the first customer to place an order at my dealership as none of the salesman knew where to find the prices and specs on the LR system and it was only after getting information from this forum on where to find it that they were able put my order together. Yet despite mine being the first order, my dealership is currently awash with cars ordered after mine....... and rather bizarrely ..... considering that they weren’t supposed to be built first ......they are pretty much all Pures!

Placed deposit early March and initial build date was 21st October but now pushed back until 8th Dec (ish??).
I must agree though that it just seems to be a lottery who gets their car when. I just can't see any logic or common thread between when cars were ordered, spec and build/delivery dates.

Placed deposit March 2011£1000,order specced July with original delivery 25 Nov,then brought foward to mid October then delayed cause I have xenons and the dealer told me he does not know if xenons are still on the order.Pm Nick@landrover to find out whether I still have xenons on my build and Nick got back to me yesterday to tell me he was advised by the order control team that mine will be built with bi-xenons in Nov as originally stated with delivery in Dec if all stays as it is.
