TMC is not that great in the UK, having used a number of different TMC recievers with different "of the shelf" NAv Systems (Tomtom/Garmin etc.) I have always found it somewhat weak. I currentlly have Tomtom 1000 series with Live services basically a web enabled data stream over 3G GSM which has proved to be very acurate and up to date.

seemed to get a better signal in the 2010 RRS, though in the 2009 RRS it was appalling....
