I had Xenons on my TDv8 RRS, the range/spread was hopeless on full beam and I needed to add the driving light pods, when I changed that for the FFRR it had Halogens - great spread and range of light, back to BiXenons with the Evoque, look cool, have smart DRL's but back to a dismal range on full beam for driving dark country lanes late at night..................... not worth paying extra for IMHO unless you want them for the looks, which is an expensive look nice addition

Thanks for the info Tim, very useful.
I have come to the conclusion the Xenon money could be better spent....on my wife...or a powered tailgate lol

well the tailgate would stop her hands getting dirty

Just call into a filling station and get her a few sets of the free disposable gloves at the diesel pumps, then you won't need the electric boot release and she can keep her hands clean

The money saved could be spent on getting her a gift voucher from M&S for a nice handbag or pair of shoes.................
