The Si4 I test drove today was averaging around 28M mpg whilst being heavily right footed.

During my 40min test drive of the Si4 I achieved an ave of 18mpg using a mixture of roads & driving styles. I was happy with this as I currently get 13mpg in my FFRR 4.2s/c...lots of short trips over country roads!

Conversely, I have just completed 400 miles in my SD4 Dynamic & it has returned a 34mpg ave.

The Si4 I drove at the Unleashed event was according to the computer averaging 32mpg and the testers were saying that it can get 40+ mpg on a run. This to me would be a Godsend as my FFRR SC has averaged 15 mpg for the last two years.

I have owned a FFRR SC for the last two years so I doubt fuel will bother me that much compared to the Daddy!LOLVery Happy

That's true!

My good conscience (the one that had bought diesel x2 over the years) continues to battle with the gas guzzler! For the Evoque - Im going for the petrol without any hesitation. Twisted EvilTwisted Evil

When the traffic is thick though, I will try some hyper-mile-ing techniques (pulse application of accelerator) but when the road is open ahead watch out - time to wake up the turbo! Grandaddy driving style out the window Wink
But honestly, dont know how the official urban figures are derived. Maybe in a town with just one traffic light!
