Also annoyed me when I was asked to 'sign in' and the lady on the door looked at the list twice and said you're not on here, only for me to point out
'what about that Mrs Charlie?'...

Very big hmmmm on the goody bag if you're reading James Confused

Serves you right for turning up so late! Laughing
Also got the goody bag. Contained a few magazine reviews, the new brochure, a pen and some bumpf on insurance for minor knocks. Nothing exciting like memory sticks, models etc though Sad

I didn't even get invited to the dealer launch... They don't deserve my business but you have to count to ten when a product is in short supply.

I agree. This is the first car that I've bought at full price and the service so far has been a little underwhelming, not awful just not the way it should be.

My dealer eventually gave 15% off accessories but it nearly killed him. He even tried to tell me that this was cost price. I'm sure Duckworths aren't selling at cost.

Evoque pen.. Memory sticks (very nice), and Evoque cup cakes!

I didn't see the memory sticks Urban, was that in the goodie bag or something you blagged?

Didn't get anything but to be honest an evening of free drinks, nice food and a great atmosphere was good enough for me.

So far my Evoque order experience has been fantastic - several creative events, which were all well thought out/planned, and all free without comprising the quality. It has really sold the brand and image to me (however I guess that feeling will go out the window when I'm signing the cheque at the dealers).

My friends often laugh and can't believe the amount of high quality free events we have attended so far, in some ways I guess we are lucky to be the buyers pre-launch than say post launch. Never known a vehicle pre-launch like the Evoque.

I got a bag full of Sweet FA!

RE: Evoque freebies - paulus599 - 13-09-2011 03:45pm

Well at least it was full, mine was a little sparse! Sad

I lied (forgot).
We did get a photography experience worth $215 (pounds), champers, food and some mag previews of the car. Sorry Paul!
A pen and memory stick would have been nice too!
