Same here....5 years this very month, and same enjoyable Evo, that started as a masterpiece and still is for me.

I think its the demographic that the Evoque is aimed at too. A lot of people that buy them wouldn't know what a forum is.
Compared to say a BMW or Golf GTI/R, there's a lot more enthusiast who want to tune, mod, drive etc.

It is also interesting how far off target the LR folks were at predicting who their market would be - Evoque was originally hoped to appeal to affluent younger women.................. where I live it seems to have really caught on with the "blue rinse" "Bridge afternoon" and "ladies who lunch" groups who used to drive Mercedes E or C Class or SLK/SL's and BMW 3 Series - maybe they always wanted a "Range Rover" but felt the real thing was too big and too expensive.

Still here! First time for a long while!

Car back today after a front bumper job. Non fault claim.

Cleanest it's been in 6months. I'd forgotten how good it could look.

Coincidentally it is 5 years this week for me!

Good to know. I wondered the same too. Coming from Camaro5, being a member there since October 2008, with a huge amount of posts before the car even rolled off the assembly line in March 2009, I was surprised I couldn't find much info here before I bought my 2013 Evoque a few 14 weeks ago. Well that Evoque is gone and hopefully getting a new one soon. I was rear ended at a red light, then pushed into a cop car in front. So the Evoque is totaled, they stopped counting at $24K US in damage. For the most part we are safe. My wife PK is still suffering concussion effects. Glad to be here for sure....
