Intake open to the air....doesn't sound good. If they were truly functional in terms of being absolutely necessary, I can't imagine land rover would handicap the five door over the three door....

They look nice though.

Yeah...it sounds the 5-door is a bit handicapped in engine cooling? Though less susceptible to dust?

*Bump this thread*

Can anybody confirm if the coupe's bonnet is interchangeable with the 5-door? I was just looking at the 2012 brochure, and it seems the coupe's and 5-door's bonnet profile are a tad different. Coupe's bonnet is somewhat 'slimmer' and rake less (perhaps to compliment the less steep A-pillar?). 5-door's bonnet chunkier and rake more.

I'm thinking of getting the coupe's bonnet to complete the LRX look, but contemplated when i saw the side-profiles.

I recon a new bonnet will be quite a sum Sad

Thanks guys! Definitely gonna get the Prestige coupe's bonnet!

RE: Dynamic Bonnet vents - berlin2011 - 16-11-2011 01:38pm

£650 and then another £50 x 2 for the Bonnet Vents

RE: Dynamic Bonnet vents - Ezandania - 16-11-2011 01:45pm

Steep, but to get the original LRX look on the 5-door, i guess its worth it. I wonder if it comes pre-painted though...

RE: Dynamic Bonnet vents - berlin2011 - 16-11-2011 01:54pm

Nope, you'll have to paint yourself.

The Bonnet Part no. is LR027588 and the Hood Scoop (vents) in black are parts no. LR032305 (RH) and LR032306 (LH)

Google it and you'll see plenty of prices - no one will have stock though.
