I have got the tuneit tuning box , just used it for the last 90,000 miles on my Audi

Tuneit are going to re do it for the sd4 when I take it over

But it won't be as good as a proper remap

But I need a plug in , plug out system

@cutter Hi, do you get more smoke from your exhaust? I think what the tuning box does is increase fuel injection, so there is probably more unburned diesel left in the exhaust gas. Or maybe the DPF will clog sooner? I'm not trying to bash the tuning box but I'm very interested and close to ordering one, I just need to sort this out first.

Thanks
Bowl

Apart from quality and reliability, are most of the tuning boxes provide similar outputs? ie should I buy any of them?

Hi Bowl,

There is no increase in smoke from my exhaust.

Please, before you order speak/or email the tech guys at TDI Tuning (if you choose these) .

Really all i can do is give you MY findings on MY car, which should not really be the decider for you..good luck.

Thanks for your input.

Your findings do count as I'd rather hear from a satisfied customer than an exaggerating seller. Laughing

Has anyone used this mob? The price for the tuning box is only 99 pounds?

seems to cheap to be a properly developed product that is tailored specifically for the evoque.

I am tempted by one of these tuning boxes at some point but I am biding my time until i see some reports/reviews/dyno plots that prove these things work and wont kill your engine or turn your clutch to cheese after a bit of use.

(the whitepaper suggests a HP upgrade from 150 to 185 and a torque upgrade to 500) and i must say i really felt a higher torque at low revs, giving me more "umph" of the starting grid.

If anyone wants to buy the same type unit as above i have one for sale, used for 30 mins for sale at £90inc vat and UK postage. Still in original packing with the calbe ties and instruction booklet. Payment can be Visa or Master card or UK bank transfer.

Will fit TD4 and SD4 models.
