Like you i had the rolling throttle/lag under 2k revs, and this unit has made the acceleration so much smoother than the harsh jerky, flat spot i use to remember..when pulling away from roundabouts.

I have started noticing this in my TD4 as well, but I am waiting for the 2000km barrier to pass before i go ahead with this.

Laughing I have Veizu tuning on my XKR. Only reason I went with them was because they gained 100HP with their tune + exhaust, hiflo cats and sc pulley (basically bolt on mods): http://www.viezu.com/blog/archives/tag/j...uar-tuning

They are located at: Aston Fields Ind Est, Bromsgrove, B60 3DN if anyone is interested.

I'm surely gonna ask a stupid question but why there no Si4 version of such device ?
All post i read were talking about diesel engine.

RE: Tuning box?

I have been considering the Arden power increase which gives an extra 35hp. It is sold in the UK by a company based in Andover called DesignEvoque.

Does anyone know them or had dealings with them before. http://www.designevoque.co.uk. I have spoken to them and they seem to know what they are talking about but it is always better to get some first hand feedback.

Cheers

top speed is related to revs/gearing not power.

Me to since all that the box is changing is the rail pressure output reading sent to the ecu. I think any changes or gains made can only be from the higher injector pressure used in the injectors when the engine is at high rpm.

RE: Tuning box?

I've got a TD4 and just installed a chip yesterday (from http://www.racechip.de), the chip is adjustable but i've kept it in the default position for now. (the whitepaper suggests a HP upgrade from 150 to 185 and a torque upgrade to 500) and i must say i really felt a higher torque at low revs, giving me more "umph" of the starting grid.

Interesting - which one did you get - the standard or the 'pro' chip? I looked at these guys and the cheaper chip does seem good value but was concerned there would be no improvement.........

I am looking for an upgrade on my SD4 and read the good feedback on the TDI Tuning chip earlier in this thread but was not ideally looking to spend best part of £300.....
