Order, MY14 Zanzibar Pure Tech. - Shakeyjake - 11-01-2014 10:18pm

Well been trawling around here trying to decide on what to add to the Pure, Have decided upon -

Tech Pack, Zanzibar Metallic, Almond Espresso Interior, Rear Camera, Contrast Black Roof, Front Fogs, Space Saver Wheel & Rear Climate Vents. Told them where to poke the £450.00 for a protection pack (Full Mats & Flaps from what i could gather) Still trying to decide if i want to spend any more this time.

Always been into Jap Crap and had a Honda's for the past 7 years without fault so hoping this continues with the Evoque.

Have been told it will be a mid Feb build with an early March delivery, Looking forward to it..!!

Welcome, are you intending using the rear seats much then for the rear climate vents? What wheels are you getting? No Pano Roof?

Standard 18's may get changed at a later date, and no had the pano roof cracked on our last car (Honda CRV) so decided against it. Forgot to mention it will be a 5 door and rear vents will be handy for our daughter instead of having the rear window's open at least I hope they will be.

If you use the boot then I would heartily recommend the power tailgate.
After using mine many times every day, I'll never buy a car without one again!

I had the electric tailgate on my Dynamic. I didn't bother on this one - waste of money, flattened the battery & closed slowly thus getting wet in the rain. Agree useful if you have full hands but you still need to be able to press the button on the fob!
Pano Roof does make a big difference.

I'm with m_101 on the electric tailgate. Had it on my last Evoque and whilst waiting for my new one, we had a loaner without and missed not having it.

BiXenon headlights, by all accounts the Halogens are a bit like those on my 1996 Defender - a candle inside each lamp unit would be brighter!

We did think about both the Tailgate and the Lights, but came to the conclusion the lights are way overpriced and that the tailgate was likely something that although would be handy would likely not get used often.

It may be me being tight but £815.00 for lights that should really be standard on this type of car is a little over the top. I have seen some good results from just bulb upgrades so will most likely go down this route.

Thanks for the reply's though, And Mr Valeter i remember you from my the.MGZR days.

I paid $150 to put in Xenons in mine (Morimoto kit). Though, because the stock Xenons are Adaptive and move around and also have the signature DRL look, I probably would have paid $1k to get them and not have to mess with them.

I must admit the Signature DRL's do look really Cool but i still don't think it justify's the price tag on them. I should really have bought a Dynamic or something but again not really sure if i could have justified the cost of one.
