Just about to order my second Evoque, been told it'll be three months from ordering to delivery. Does anybody know for fact when the new 9 speed gearbox will come off the production line?

If you're in that position, I would stipulate it to the dealer, and let them make the order.
Current 'talk' is Jan 2014.

Spoke to the dealer and they said they'd had no info but if I ordered now then if the price hike wasn't too much they'd cover it!!
But Jan 14 is months away..,

It's the million dollar question buddy. There is a couple of us on here that are chasing info on the new box/MY14 specs. My dealer did confirm it would be In the MY14 evoque. One of us has October as the build month, I have been told maybe September.
And that's about all we have! Keep an eye on here as we will share any info we get, for those that are interested.

Hi Stadt,
Yes both myself and Crimdog have been patiently waiting on news of the new gear box. We are hoping to get info in July on its availability.
I guess if it turns out to be on deliveries next year I may have to bite the bullet on the 6 speed. I shall wait till end of July before making my decision though so I can get my car in September. I think current leadtimes are about 6 weeks.

I'm with you 100% on that but was told lead time was 12 weeks!
