Have to say that compared to another specialist forum, this is quite boring, and not particularly interesting for those who are waiting, or thinking about ordering , just saying!!

It's also summer time in Europe, many regulars have gardens to tend, holidays to take and other things than being website geeks to do so the posting rate goes down when the weather is nice - FFRR forum sometimes goes for day without a new post!

You can always find a joke of the day and pst it in the off topic sections if you really think we need additional fresh daily material!

Or you can check out the polls on-going performances which are an interesting easy read, and make sure you haven't missed any to vote too Smile

Me, i'm on a Greek island for a month (i've got a scooter here), while my Evoque sits in it's Garage for 7 weeks waiting for me.

Perhaps its because the great majority of our vehicles are performing well and doing all we expect of them leaving less for the whingers to whine about whilst depreciation is now setting in so those who wanted to boast about losing no money in 12 months of ownership now have nothing to say.

We're all out enjoying our Evoques, when not working etc

Nope, it's still a boring forum! ;0)))))

It's inevitable that a forum like this will fade somewhat once the initial flush of enthusiasm has gone, the initial heady period when we early adopters were waiting for our cars and there were lots of unanswered questions, accessories to discover and the rest.

Seems incredible now that there were people who went to great lengths to fit dynamic exteriors to their prestige interiors. Incredible too that some of us went up to Gaydon last September (was it only that short time ago?) to celebrate the car's first birthday. I doubt there will be any takers this year.

People move on too; we've lost some of the characters here - Charlie and Evoquess come to mind.

At the end of the day, it's only a car. People settle into having it in their lives and the fit is better for some than others. I expect the now departed forum member who liked to compare his car purchases to his romantic conquests would say the Evoque is like taking a new lover, all exciting to start with but the passion ebbs after a while.

My Evoque is a keeper though, fits the bill perfectly.
